A Record
A record (DNS) เป็น Type ของการแปลงจากชื่อโฮส (Hostname) เป็นหลายเลขไอพีแอสเดรส (IPv4) ตัวอย่าง www.sabainetwork.com  A  112.121.159.205
หมายถึง เมื่อมีการร้องขอไอพีแอดเดรสของ www.sabainetwork.com มาที่ DNS Server, DNS Server จะทำการส่งค่า 112.121.159.205 กลับออกมาให้ และปรากฏเป็นหน้าเว็บขึ้น

AAA Record
AAAA record เป็น Type ของการแปลงจากชื่อโฮส (Hostname) เป็นหมายเลขไอพีแอสเดรส (IPv6)

CNAME Record
CNAME - Canonical Name makes one domain name an alias of another. The aliased domain gets all the subdomains and DNS records of the original.
CNAME เป็นวิธีการกำหนดโดเมนเนมรูปแบบหนึ่ง เช่น กำหนดให้ http://www.sabaihosting.com ชี้ไปที่เดียวกับ http://www.sabainetwork.com จากกรณีของ sabaihosting.com CNAME sabainetwork.com เมื่อมีผู้ร้องขอข้อมูลจาก http://www.sabaihosting.com  ระบบจะดึงข้อมูลมาจากไอพีหรือหน้าเว็บ ที่ http://www.sabainetwork.com  ชี้อยู่ Link ที่เห็นในหน้าเว็บเพจ จะเป็นของโดเมนนั้นเลยคือ http://www.sabaihosting.com ซึ่งแตกต่างจากการใช้ Frame HTML

MX Record
An MX record or Mail exchange record is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System (DNS) specifying how Internet e-mail should be routed. MX records point to the servers to send an e-mail to, and which ones it should be sent to first, by priority
MX Record ใน DNS เป็นการระบุเมล์เซิร์ฟเวอร์ของโดเมนนั้นๆ ว่าให้ส่งเมล์ไปที่ใด เช่น
sabainetwork.com   MX 10 sabainetwork.com 
sabainetwork.com   MX 20 alt1.aspmx.l.google.com (เป็นการใช้เมล์ Google Apps)

จากตัวอย่างนี้ เมื่อมีเมล์ to [at] sabainetwork.com จะถูกส่งไปยังไอพีแอดเดรสของ sabainetwork.com (sabainetwork.com ต้องมี A record) แต่ถ้าหากไม่สามารถติดต่อ sabainetwork.com ได้ จะทำการส่งเมล์ไปยัง alt1.aspmx.l.google.com  สำหรับตัวเลข 10, 20 เป็นลำดับความสำคัญของการส่งอีเมล์ โดย เมื่อมีเมล์จะส่งเข้ามายังระบบ จะถูกส่งไปยัง MX record ที่มีหมายเลข priority ต่ำสุด แต่ถ้าหากส่งไม่ได้ ก็จะไล่มาที่ priority ถัดมา. * MX Record ไม่สามารถอ้างอิงไอพีแอดเดรสโดยการใช้ CNAME record ได้
